Carlos Yoc, brand and product designer, portrait

Brand & UX/UI Specialist

Carlos Yoc

Guatemala, working globally

I design products and brands where detail decides how they're used and how they're remembered.

Here's what that looks like in practice.

Digital products

Product and interface: systems people use every day.

Brand

Identity and communication: what makes a brand recognizable.

Brand identity for the Ecosabita 2023 RaceBrand identity for DTS ExpressBrand identity and website for Camas y Muebles OrregoThe Renovarte campaign for DTSBrand identity and catalog for NaturaBrand identity for Moto Servicio San JuanRebrand concept for BoFabric

What I do

Design

I define interfaces and systems that stay coherent as a product grows. That means reusable components, shared rules for color, type and spacing, and defined behavior for every state on any screen.

Implementation

I carry those decisions into production: responsive interfaces, reusable components, and interaction as designed. The design system and the code share the same rules, so nothing drifts. This site is built that way.

How I work

01

Understand the problem

Before designing anything, we agree on the problem and who it's for. What we know gets written down; what we don't gets asked.

02

Set the direction

The team decides where to go and what to leave out. Every decision keeps its reasoning, so it can be revisited later.

03

Review and refine

Each version is reviewed with product and engineering before moving on. Components change until the flow holds up.

04

Reach production

Design reaches engineering with components, states and behavior already defined. I stay through implementation and QA until it looks and works as designed.

Portrait of Carlos Yoc

Brand & UX/UI Specialist

I'm Carlos Yoc. I come from digital marketing, so I think about the business and the people using the product before the screen. Today I design within product teams and take on freelance projects where I can own a system end to end.
